Q1. My parent / spouse was a shareholder and has expired. I am their legal heir or I was the joint shareholder. How do I transfer the shares in my name?

Q2. I am holding shares in physical form. How do I get the shares in my demat account?

Q3. I have not received dividends in past years (up to FY 2022–23). How do I claim them?
A shareholder may not have received dividends due to one or more of the following reasons:
- In case dividends are unpaid/unclaimed for seven consecutive years, shares will be transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF).
- The shareholder’s address has changed and has not been intimated or updated in our records.
- The shareholder’s old demat account in our records has been closed.
- The shareholder’s identity proofs have not been updated in our records.
You can check whether your shares have been transferred to IEPF by contacting our RTA, KFin Technologies Limited, by email at einward.ris@kfintech.com or by calling 1800-4254-034/035.
If the RTA confirms that the shares have been transferred to IEPF:
Please file Form IEPF-5, available at www.iepf.gov.in, following the instructions mentioned in the information kit.
After filing the form, please send the hard copy of the forms along with the attachments filed to our RTA at the following address:
